1. Acceptance

By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Strums.ai is a personal finance tool that parses bank statements and organises your transactions.

2.1 Not Financial Advice

Strums.ai is a data visualization and organization tool. The “Info Scores,” “Runway,” and “Categorizations” provided are for informational purposes only. We are not a SEBI-registered Investment Advisor. No content on this platform should be construed as financial, tax, or investment advice.

2.2 Accuracy of AI

You acknowledge that transaction categorization is performed using Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini). While we strive for high accuracy, we do not warrant that categorizations will be 100% error-free. You are responsible for verifying the “Ground Truth” against your original bank statements before making any financial commitments.

3. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload. You may delete your data or your account at any time from the Profile page.

3.1 User Representations & PDF Ownership

By uploading a bank statement, you represent and warrant that:

1. You are the legal owner of the account, or;
2. You have obtained express, informed consent from the account holder to upload and process their data (specifically applicable to Family Members and Joint Accounts).

3.2 Passwords

If you provide a password to decrypt a bank statement, that password is used solely for the decryption process. We encrypt these strings using industry-standard Fernet (AES-128) logic, but you acknowledge that providing such credentials carries inherent digital risk.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use the service to upload documents belonging to other individuals without their consent, attempt to reverse-engineer the service, or use automated tools to scrape data.

5. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Strums.ai and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or financial loss) arising from parsing errors, data inaccuracies, or your reliance on the dashboard metrics.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified in-app.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
